About Ada's Makery

Ada’s Makery is an inclusive makerspace where individuals of all abilities learn, create, and build real job skills—turning creativity into opportunity and belonging.

We do this by partnering with local and small businesses (or individuals) and providing quality handmade products.

We received our 501c3 status in October 2025! Ada's Makery is a small startup, founded by an Occupational Therapist & Speech Language Pathologist, and birthed from the heart of a neurodivergent young adult.  We are dedicated to our core values of authenticity, acceptance, quality and customer satisfaction.  We are at the very beginning stages and can't wait to see where our journey takes us!

Abigail, Lyn and Pilar are our core team! Abigail is our neurodivergent voice who keeps us focused, provides insight and inspiration at Ada's.  Lyn and Pilar are co-founders with extensive clinical, educational and lived experience.  

Ada???  Ada represents the Americans with Disabilities Act and is at the CORE of why we do what we do!
